Today is a special day.
For those who know of my obsession with the number 9 and its connection to Watcher, today is a nine-day.
For those who don’t know what the heck I’m talking about, add up the digits in today’s date: 10-04-2011 -> 1+0+0+4+2+0+1+1 = 9.
But it’s more than just a nine day.
It’s a birth day, and a day to celebrate the achievement of a personal goal.
Today is the birth day of Watcher: Book I of The Chosen, after a nearly three-year-long gestation.
And today I am an officially published novelist.
Roh! You didn’t tell me the date – that it actually happened! (And I’ve been a horrible blogger these last few month – not gotten around at all!)
This means I can give it write up on my blog, yes? Probably next week. Would you like to guest post as well?
Hi Tara!
Sorry – I’ve thought several time of emailing you, but have been so buried w/ getting the ebooks ready I haven’t had time to take a breath, let alone follow through on my thoughts.
A write-up on your blog? That would be great! And I’d love to guest post.
I’ll email you – right now, in fact!
D’oh. How long have I not visited? Sorry, life’s been manic for so very long!
CONGRATULATIONS on your publication! Great book cover — and I love the font! Where can I get it?
Congratulations, Roh!
Thanks, Paula! Glad you were part of the journey!
Thank you, Stephanie! I’m looking forward to meeting you at World Fantasy Con in San Diego in a few weeks.
congrats!!!! The book looks great!
Woot! Congrats to you! 🙂
Thanks, Mer!
Congratulations, hallelujah, omfg, whew, amen, and where’s the sequel?
Gee, thanks!
Sequel? Spring 2012. April, to be exact. Which, among other things, happens to be a nine-month.
🙂
Congratulations!!!
Thanks, Ryan.
And to think…Two+ years ago you were encouraging us folks at FSFW to try self-publishing, and I was staunchly against self-pubbing my novel.
A lot sure has changed since then.
